We know that a lot of folks are unfamiliar with the idea of group therapy, so we are offering a free info night for you to dip your toes in and see if this offering might be for you!
This group offers a safe, welcoming space for honest connection and shared vulnerability, grounded in the understanding that none of us are alone in these struggles.
Free Info Night Introduction to Group Therapy
Join Dr. Shelly Sheinbein in this opportunity to learn skills to manage emotions, reduce self-criticism, & respond to stress with greater balance & compassion. Using evidence-based approaches such as Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), participants will build a practical set of skills to manage emotions, reduce self-criticism, set healthy boundaries, and respond to stress with greater balance and compassion.
She will cover:

What does change look like: the self-sacrifice paradox of motherhood & "putting your own oxygen mask on first”

What practical skills will you learn to increase your satisfaction in daily life and reduce stress

How group therapy works: recognizing common fears/obstacles, & what benefits are unique to group work
This group welcomes all who identify as moms—including those through birth, adoption, fostering, or chosen family—and affirms LGBTQ+ moms.
