A Bit About Madison

Madison is a licensed professional counselor who works from a relational, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based perspective. She supports clients navigating life transitions, identity exploration, and the impacts of anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her practice includes work with individuals and couples—including those in non-monogamous or kink relationships—and she holds space for the complexities of attachment, dissociation, and existential processing. Madison has specific training and experience in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, with a clinical focus on the emotional, relational, and systemic challenges that can arise for transgender and gender-expansive clients during various stages of transition. Her approach is rooted in affirming care and informed by both evidence-based practices and a deep commitment to advocacy for gender and sexual diversity.

Her approach is grounded in person-centered and humanistic theory, while incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and transpersonal frameworks. Madison also offers psychedelic integration and harm reduction-informed support, including preparation and integration for those pursuing ketamine or psilocybin assisted therapy.

She holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Denver and a BA in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Arizona. Her background includes research in emotional awareness in couples and systemic program evaluation, along with clinical experience in community mental health, group facilitation, and private practice.

At the core of her work is a deep respect for each client’s inner wisdom. Madison aims to co-create a space where clients feel safe to explore, heal, and grow—at their own pace, in their own way.
